Rachel Feldstein joined A Community of Friends in March as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) after working extensively in nonprofit management positions for over 25 years.

Ms. Cager directs all administrative, technology and human resource functions for ACOF and its current staff.  Ms. Cager joined ACOF in November 1994 with a background in office and bank administration.   

Renae DeMent

Ms. DeMent is responsible for all aspects of ACOF’s finances, including financial reporting, cash disbursement, cash management, and payroll. Ms. DeMent also  

John Kearns

Director of Fund Development

Mr. Kearns joined ACOF in November 2016 with a background of 20 years’ combined experience in fund development and communications for both nonprofit and for profit organizations. 

James Ramirez


James Ramirez
Director of Services

Mr. Ramirez joined ACOF as the Assistant Director of Services and was promoted to Director in October 2016.  In this position he is responsible for ACOF’s services program, including case management at 18 ACOF buildings and management of a dozen third-party social services agencies.
 

Terry Simons

Director of Asset and Property Management

Mr. Simons manages ACOF’s portfolio of 36 properties. He is responsible for project performance (physical and fiscal), and regulatory and statutory compliance. Mr. Simons joined ACOF in July 2012, after 11 years
