EY Connect Day is an annual event in which the organization Ernst & Young encourages people, including their own staff, to volunteer with a focus on activities that promote entrepreneurial business skills and environmental sustainability.

This year, ACOF’s Silver Star project was chosen as the recipient of EY Connect Day. Silver Star is ACOF’s first Zero Net Energy (ZNE) multi-family affordable housing project in Los Angeles serving veterans. Additionally, Silver Star is LEED for Home Platinum Certified and Energy Star Homes Certified.

EY Connect Day volunteers helped create a garden from scratch and were able to learn more about Silver Star and ACOF.
