As a provider of supportive housing to vulnerable people, A Community of Friends is considered an “Essential Business” during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our business continuity planning ensures that our affordable housing development, services provision, and property management activities continue uninterrupted while following the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and county departments of public health to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Many employees are working remotely, and services and property management staff remain at our buildings to help our tenants weather through this health crisis. If you would like to help, please know many of our tenants are unable to compete for supplies and food under the current panic buying environment. We appreciate donations of food and supplies, and cash contributions that allow us to purchase in bulk from several reliable distributors.
